Every wardrobe should include a good pair of jeans. Wardrobes for full-figured people of size 14 or larger are no exception. Here's how to find a pair of jeans that you can wear with pride and comfort.

The first thing I have to break to you is that these new jeans you'll be shopping for will probably cost more than $25. While it is possible to just bop into a Target or an Old Navy and find a pair that really work for you, most people are not that lucky. But there are some mainstream stores that can hit the balance between looks and price. Try Levi's and Avenue for mid-range priced jeans. If you want to go upscale, check out Svoboda jeans at Nordstrom or Lord and Taylor shops. Tummy-Tuck jeans have also gotten a lot of rave reviews.

If possible, you always want to shop brick and mortar for jeans because the fit is so critical, but if that is not an option you can still buy one or two pairs online, try them on, and then ship them back if they don't work.

Certain styles work well for full-figured women, and some are real disasters. Avoid the low-hung look at all costs, for example, but seek out boot-cut jeans as often as possible. High-waisted jeans are good for people with pear-shaped bodies. But if you do not want to make your butt look any larger, skip jeans with pocket covers or embroidery on the back pockets - those are for people who want more volume there.

In terms of colors and washes, darker is much better. Lighter washes do not compliment plus sizes. Think of the darker washes as getting you closer to black, the king of slimming colors.

For fit, go with whatever jeans fit properly, even if that means having to go up a size from what you usually wear. As I'm sure you know already, one size for one designer is not the same size for another designer. Even two pairs of the same size jeans can actually fit a bit different, so if you find a cut and size that you really like, try on a two or three pairs of those jeans. You may find that one particular pair just works a bit better than all the others (it is due to subtle differences in how the fabric and seams work together, and is a terrific shopping tip most people don't know about).

Avoid loose jeans and jeans that are too tight. Neither looks good on almost anyone, whether they are slim or plus size or in between. You may also have to choose between "misses" and "junior" cuts for jeans from main-stream retailers. Generally "misses" is the better place to start because it gives more room in the hips. If you can find jeans in stretch material, that will help a lot both with your comfort and with your looks. It may save you from having to keep that dreaded pair of "fat pants" that we all wear the week after Thanksgiving.

Cecilia Montrose writes about choosing plus size womens coats that work with current styles, including plus size fur coats.

Diesel jeans are widely accepted as iconic and for good reason. The quality and style of these clothes are rarely matched buy anything else and you can be sure that you will attract the attention of the people around you, especially if you wear a pair that suits you.

It is not easy to choose the right pair. There are primarily three things that you should bear in mind while choosing Diesel jeans: the waist, the length, and the cut. Do not buy jeans that are too long for you and then cut them because this spoils the overall effect. If you do not get an appropriate pair, you may roll up the ends, this does not spoil the fall.

You may choose to check whether a pair is likely to lose color over time or not by using a match stick. Soak the match and then run it on the fabric, if the color gets transferred to the match, the pair is likely to lose color. However, this is not always a bad thing because it will look good even when it gets faded.

The right pair of Diesel jeans will conceal the imperfections in your figure, so choose carefully.

If you have rounded thighs, the banana cut would be appropriate for you. If you wish to show off your height, you may opt for the low waist models because these also look quite sensuous.

If you wish to create the illusion of being taller than you actually are, you may consider wearing high waist varieties. These look good if these have a straight cut. Do not go for the baggy varieties because these may make your legs look bulkier than they actually are. You should also go for the darker colors because these will suit you better. If the seams are in the inside, you legs will look slims. If these are outside, your legs will look broader. Depending on your requirements, choose the correct type.

If you have lean thighs, you should not attract too much attention to these. Thus it would be a good idea to opt for the lighter colors because these will not be too eye-catching. Do not opt for the models that are very tight or the ones with small back pockets.

Finding the right pair of Diesel jeans in store is somewhat difficult and you may consider purchasing from an online store like Designer's Clothing.

Have You Tried The Merona Fit Solutions No Gap Waist Jeans?

No matter what size is listed on your clothing tag, many curvy girls have the hardest time finding jeans that fit due to their small waists and larger hips, thighs, and butts. Up until recently you may have been out of luck trying to find jeans that actually fit women with curvy figures, but nowadays you will find more and more jeans that cater to this market. Maybe PZI Jeans really did start a trend by producing a fashion denim line solely dedicated to offering jeans for curvy girls.

If you're looking for a relatively inexpensive pair of jeans for curvy women, you're in luck because you can find a pair at Target! Have you heard of Target's Merona Fit Solutions brand? Known as the "No Gap Waist Jean," these jeans retail for right around $25. Even better is the fact that they are available in your choice of dark or medium wash. You can also get them in either Petite or Regular fit (Sorry, Tall and Curvy Ladies!).

If you're looking for a large variety of styles like skinny jeans, you won't be able to find that from the Merona Fit Solutions No Gap Waist Jeans either. These jeans feature a classic mid rise with bootcut legs. You may also be interested to know that there's a built-in slimming layer outfitted into the jeans as well. These jeans are probably best for casual wear - running errands, grocery shopping, picking up the kids from school, whatever it is that you do in your everyday life! These are not super stylized jeans like you can find in some of your premium denim jeans lines, but rather kinda no-frills, get-the-job done denim jeans that are designed to fit curvy figures.

You may not want to rely on finding these jeans in your neighborhood Target store because it may be hit or miss whether you are actually able to find them locally. Many curvy girls are hesitant to buy online because of previous trouble with finding jeans that actual fit, but consider this: These jeans get great reviews from women with similar shapes (just check the reviews on Target's website), oftentimes you are able to get free shipping, AND you are able to return if you're dissatisfied for whatever reason. Now aren't those good reasons to at least try these recommended jeans made for curvy women's bodies?

According to recent surveys, the majority of women struggle with finding jeans that fit and flatter. You don't have to be one of them! Most women will tell you that when it comes to ladies Trousers, finding the perfect pair can prove to be a daunting task - but when you do, it is definitely time well-spent.

Ladies jeans are available in a ton of different styles and to suit nearly any taste and provide the ultimate in comfort for those rare days when you get to dress down, or for running errands and relaxing on the weekend. Ladies jeans are normally slimmer, tighter n lower waist than men's. These are gorgeous and appliqué works are usually seen to done on them.

Many women count their baggy jeans among their favorite items of clothing. There are many diverse styles in ladies like straight cut, boot cut, skinny, flare, low rise of the generic variety and torn, washed, ripped jeans of the stylish range. Bootleg ladies jeans are known for balancing the hips giving the lower body a better shape.

History of Jeans

First jeans were made for the Genoese Navy, which needed pants that were easy to roll up while cleaning the ship deck and could be worn wet or dry. Post 1950s, jeans became popular casual dress among teenagers as well as women. Women's designer brands like FCUK, Bench, Duck and Cover jean, Peter Werth, Ripcurl, Diesel Oakley, Hooch & Golddigga have left Wrangler and Lee jeans behind, which were known for the basic comfort fit.

Sizes to Choose

You can find these trousers in virtually all sizes. One small thing to note is ladies with short legs should avoid cuffed ladies jeans, because they will have the effect of looking short and frumpy.

If you're into designer jeans, then you've more than likely heard about Joe's Jeans. This wildly popular brand of denim jeans took off in popularity due to its company mission to create great-fitting jeans designed to fit a variety of body types. It might not surprise you that one of the 14 different fits of Joe's Jeans appeals to curvy women.

Joe's Honey Jeans are designed for the "voluptuous woman with a smaller waist and luscious booty" - so says the advertising and incredible reviews from curvy women across the Internet. These stretch bootcut denim pants feature a fitted contoured waistband to prevent gaping in the back and accentuate your curvy figure. Premium denim like this style are not only perfect for curvy women, but they work fantastically if you're looking pants to dress up and wear for an evening out on the town. This style come in a variety of washes and finishes, but many women love the dark denim wash because it helps you look slimmer. Also the bootcut style balances out larger hips, thighs, and booty so that your body looks proportionate.

Expect a bit of color transfer until you have washed these jeans a few times. However, for the price you pay, you can expect quality. However you will not find fading after a few washes. These premium denim pants still look good after many, many washes and wears (as it should for the price tag!). You may be able to find them for cheaper by shopping sales or online stores like Zappos or Macy's, but expect to pay in the neighborhood of $150 and up. Before you buy the Joe's Honey Jeans, there is one thing to be aware of... There is only one inseam length - 34?. If you're petite, add some money to your overall budget to find a tailor to customize the jeans for you. Otherwise, they will be way too long for your frame.

If you're constantly on the search for jeans for curvy women, it is a good bet to invest in these, especially if you usually cannot find jeans that actually fit and flatter. There are currently 16 different styles you can choose from! Generally, each style corresponds to a different wash. You might want to try the Baicy, Perry, or Paradis styles if you're particularly interested in owning a pair of curve-flattering dark denim pants.

According to recent surveys, the majority of women struggle with finding jeans that fit and flatter. You don't have to be one of them!

If you are reading this article, you probably take the way you look seriously and want to look good. You may be up on all the latest trends and ready to take the world by storm! But sometimes, there's a trend that we just don't get or know how to put together without looking a little silly. This is especially true for boyfriend jeans, which have become quite popular over the last season or two. If you want to look your best - attractive and fun - boyfriend jeans are the way to go, but you have to do it right. Here's how.

So What are They?

First of all, what are boyfriend jeans? Yes, they're everywhere, but are they actually a pair of jeans you swipe from your boyfriend or husband's drawer? The answer is simply no. Men's jeans are cut differently than women's so wearing your man's jeans may make you look a little strange if they don't fit properly. The jeans are meant to be baggy and rolled at the ankles while fitting you through the hips and thighs. Opt for the straight leg cut - do not use men's boot cut or flared jeans for this look.

How to Wear Them

As mentioned, boyfriend jeans are meant to be rolled at the ankle. The cuff should rest just above the ankle, showing off your feminine foot. If you are on the smaller side, make sure that you even out the look by cuffing the jeans with a smaller roll. The look is meant to sit low on the hips, hence the "boyfriend jeans" angle, so it will work if you are curvy or straight.

What to Wear with Boyfriend Jeans

Boyfriend jeans are meant to be casual yet feminine. The point is not to look masculine. You will want to wear them with slim-fitting tops, girly shoes, and other feminine accessories. Ballet flats, detailed gladiators, and chunky high heels tend to work best with them.

You should avoid masculine pieces such as cotton flannel, button-down shirts, and ties. This could make you look like a guy. If you must incorporate other masculine pieces, make sure you wear high heels, throw on a couple of chunky bracelets, or cinch the waist with a belt.

Now Go Out and Wear Them!

Just remember, when you put together an outfit with boyfriend jeans at the focus, keep it simple. Because the jeans themselves are going to be baggy, you do want to achieve some balance with tighter tops, dainty shoes, and feminine jewelry, but don't go overboard. Just a piece here and there and you'll be looking good!

A pair of designer denim jeans can set you back anywhere from fifty pounds upwards depending on the brand. With the current economic climate leaving people short of cash for luxury items, it's now more important than ever to make your denim jeans last as long as possible. Although you may be able to deal with wearing your designer jeans for more than one season allowing a longer life cycle for them, there will always come a time when your jeans will wear out.

You can give your denim jeans a new lease of life by repairing them. One of the main places a pair of jeans, designer or high street, wear out is through the seam splitting at the crotch or around the bottom. This can easily be remedied by sewing them back up. However it is very difficult to push a sewing needle through denim, especially if it's thick so this is were it's useful to take them to your local seamstress for repair.

Another common place for your designer jeans to wear out is on the back of the thigh. This is usually due to the denim rubbing on other materials and surfaces that you sit on such as benches or settees. The usual result is a tear in the denim where it has become thin. This can be remedied by sewing a patch of denim to this area. You can either use denim from an unsalvageable pair of jeans or by buying a swatch from a local haberdashery store. Again if you are unable to sew the two pieces together, a seamstress can do it for you for a small charge. Similar repairs can be made to tears in the knee section of your jeans, another common place for damage due to general wear and tear.

If you want to make more of a style statement when patching your jeans, you can choose a contrasting shade of denim for the patch. Alternatively, you can choose a completely different fabric for the patch, however make sure the new fabric is still hardwearing. A fabric such as corduroy is ideal or you can choose a heavy duty patterned print for extra detail.

If your designer jeans were originally embellished, it may well be that through washing and wear, the embellishments have fallen off. This is particularly common if glitter, sequins or gem stones were attached. Again a haberdashery store will sell a wide range of replacement embellishments. You can simply use fabric glue to stick these onto your jeans. Remember that you're not restricted by the original design of your denim jeans. You can choose to add new embellishments wherever you want.

Most jeans will fray around the ankle hems. This is especially common if your jeans are longer than your shoes. Small frays can simply be cut off your jeans to tidy them up but if your hems are very frayed or marked from touching the floor, you can cut the bottom off the jean legs to create cropped jeans or even shorts.

If your designer jeans have become stained in certain areas, you can use fabric paint to create a slogan, pattern or picture in this area. This will cover up the stain and give your jeans a new lease of life.

If you're like me, pretty much the last thing you want to be doing with your time is shopping for clothes. Unfortunately, ever since humanity's expulsion from the Garden of Eden (thanks, Eve) men have needed to acquire clothes somehow. Thus, visits to the mall or shopping center are an inevitable part of human life.

While shopping for t-shirts, coats and other clothes can be relatively straightforward, the process of finding a good pair of jeans is usually a daunting task. With so many different styles, brands, and cuts, there are a million ways to confuse yourself. Top it off with the facts that jeans can be pricey and an extremely important part of any wardrobe, and you've got the perfect shopping nightmare.

To badly paraphrase the elder George Bush, this confusion will not stand! It is time to take control of our jean shopping experience once and for all by determining what we're looking for before we enter the stores. If we adhere to the following tips, jeans shopping will become like a walk in the park.

Keep it simple

It seems like there's a plethora of different styles, from tapered to bell bottoms and everything in between. My advice to you is just keep it simple. Straight or boot-cut jeans are two styles you couldn't possibly go wrong in. They're appropriate for any situation, and you don't have to worry about them falling out of fashion six months after you buy them.

Know your role

Another thing that is essential to keep in mind is where and how you're going to be wearing your jeans. If your workplace allows jeans, then it's best to buy a pair that is not too flashy and usually darker in color. This gives them a classy appearance will promote a feeling of professionalism. Go easy on the pocket designs, too.

For more casual situations, lighter blue jeans with a relaxed fit are the best call. When you're lounging around on a Sunday afternoon, you wouldn't want your pants riding up into your nether region, would you?

Bring the belt

Always remember to keep your belt in mind. Some belts don't fit within the loops of some jeans, so avoid the hassle of taking your jeans back to the store by bringing your most-used belt with you as you shop.

As long as you follow these guidelines, much of the anxiety of jeans shopping will be eliminated. Enjoy your next shopping experience- it should be quick and easy!

Hello everyone! Are you a big fan of designer denim? Have you always wanted a pair of True Religion jeans, but don't live near a store that sells them? Well there is always the option of buying them online, which is very convenient for just about everybody! The only problem that arises with buying online is- "Are they authentic? How do you tell? How do you know you are not getting ripped off?" Well in this article, I will discuss a few ways that YOU yourself can learn to spot the REAL DEAL versus the FAKES! Ready?

First off, you must know that True Religion jeans are very, VERY expensive. There are the regular stitched True Religion jeans, the BIG T stitched (with thicker stitching), and the SUPER T stitched (with super thick stitching). The Super T's are the most expensive, around $319 per pair. Your first clue to whether or not the jeans you want are safe to buy is: PRICE. If they are too cheap, then chances are they are FAKE. However, this is not always the case. I have seen countless fakes being sold at very high prices. So look out! Pay attention to details!!

Details such as the stitching, shape of the horseshoes, inner pattern on the pockets, rivets, placement of the back logo patch, inseam length, material, inner tags, and even the belt loops are all ways to tell the difference between a REAL pair and a FAKE pair. I will cover each one of these for you.

1. Stitching: Real True Religion jeans have stitching throughout the jeans that is comparable to regular thread. It is very clean, even, and without flaws, such as running out of the lines or being stitched on top of. It is very professionally done, and doesn't look like a two year old tried to sew them. Fake pairs tend have have stitching that looks more like yarn, and gets fuzzy looking. It is often sloppy, with a lot of mistakes.

2. Horseshoe shape: The back horseshoes on the pockets should be evenly places inside of the back pockets. This is a huge clue, as MANY and MOST fakes cannot get this right. Authentic True Religion jeans have horseshoes that are centered evenly from the top to bottom, and left to right. They are not narrow in shape.

3. Inner pockets: True Religion jeans have small red Buddhas on the inner pocket lining. They are small, evenly spaced, and red. FAKE pairs have larger Buddhas are often very faded (or barely there), maroon in color, and the pocket material looks tan, not white. The pocket material should be white, with smaller red buddhas.

4. Rivets: The rivets near the front coin pockets are made out of a metal-like material. They are never plastic, which is commonly seen on fakes.

5. Placement of back True Religion logo patch: The back patch on authentic True Religion jeans is on the right hand side, all the way over to the right. It is commonly seen on fakes that the patch is more centered in the middle of the right hand side, which is a dead giveaway. Also, one must take note that the way the stitching around this label is done is VERY important. The back label should have red, EVEN stitching that is VERY neatly done around the entire patch. Fakes have stitching that is all over the place, and is over over-stitched in certain areas, or looks like the patch is about the fall off. Please note that many authentic True Religion patches are brown leather, as well as the red and white.

6. Inseam length: If you are buying a pair of brand new true Religion jeans, you are going to have a VERY long inseam length to start with. The inseam is usually at least 33" long, and can be as long as 36" on some pairs. If your pair is brand new, and the inseam is only 32" or less, then be aware that these may be fakes. Some older styles of True Religion jeans did actually have a shorter inseam around 32", but it is not very common anynore. Most fakes have s shorter inseam of about 32" or 32.5". Please also note that if you are buying a preowned/ used pair, the first owner may have had them hemmed, so please ask them before assuming they are fakes if they have a shorter inseam.

7. Material: The two most commonly used fabric types in True Religion jeans are 100% cotton (also known as RIGID) or 99% cotton 1% elastin (stretch). True Religion NEVER EVER uses Polyurethane in their blends, so if you see it, keep going- they are fake!

8. Inner tags: There are three inner tags, the one on top has a red Buddha that states the size, and says MADE IN USA. (The jeans are NEVER made in China!) On ther reverse of this tag is the material content, care instructions, RN and CA#'s on top. Then there is a cloth tag, that is smaller in side with a red horseshoe and strip across the bottom. On the reverse side of this tag is a serial code. Then last a paper tag underneath with style numbers (newer pairs even have the style name), PO numbers, CA, and RN numbers. Note that often times, the FAKE tags are slippery feeling, or waxy. They are often a brown tone as well, and are not white as they should be.

9. Belt loops: Fake True Religion jeans have VERY slanted side belt loops, almost crooked looking, like they are going sideways. They should NOT look like this!

~ So there you have it! I hope this guide has been somewhat helpful to you in your journey for a TRUE pair of TRUE RELIGION jeans! Good luck!!

So recently I had been dying to try a pair of 7forallmankind jeans. Various friends and magazine articles had boosted about how amazing they make your butt look. I just had to give them a try!

I personally really enjoy wearing pants like lululemon and TNA because I'm lacking in the butt department. Lulu and TNA defiantly help you make up for it. Instant yoga butt!

I went to and browsed around. I really liked the Roxanne style in the fit guide. After browsing around for some time I finally settled on a pair of "Roxanne in New York jeans dark" in a size 26. The details list:

"The Roxanne sits low on the waist, has a tight fit through the thigh, and tapers from thigh into a peg leg. Our original & bestselling inky blue wash features the perfect amount of fading and distressing without looking contrived. Signature 7 for All Mankind squiggle on the back pocket concludes this classic look. Approx. Inseam 33"Approx. Front Rise 6", Back Rise 11", Zip flyCotton / SpandexMachine, wash cold, Made in USA"

The shipping was really quick! It arrived at my house in just a few days. I was really worried about size 26 being too small because I had read reviews about 7forallmankind sizes running small, but they fit!

They fit perfect in fact. I'm 5'10 and the pants still ruffle at the bottom like the photo. They give my butt an instant booty lift! I wore these jeans for two days straight. I love them! I have received tons of compliments on these jeans. My boyfriend loves them and my friends want to borrow them (in their dreams!). If you get these jeans, wear them with heels to get the optimal bum effect.

These jeans are defiantly worth the price! Their hand made in California, not china so the quality is really there. The style is really current and up to par. I have worn various designer jeans and so far these are my favourite!

Since owning a pair, I now dream of 7forallmankind having a huge sample sale in my area with tons of size 26 jeans.
